440 block id

  Can any one help me. I have a 440 block part number 2658836. cast date 5 of 72 the odd things are the part number is on the upper bell housing by the oil sender not on the side also checker board extra webbing on both sides of the block between the freeze plugs, plus large bosses just under the head deck at the rear. Block is stamped J 440 on the pad. I looked up the the pn # in the parts books and it is not listed. It has a vin on the pan rail pad so i do not think it is a marine block. I find that number as a casting number for a 426 wedge industrial block.
