My Duster (1973), would there be an ammeter gauge or voltmeter? :shruggy:

A 73 Duster would have come with an amp guage.

So I should change it to volts to reduce the risk of fire I assume?

That is an option. I know a lot of folks who do convert their amp guage to a volt guage.

Couldn't hurt. I think there's a good article on Allpar.com about it. You might get a better answer over at FABO.
