hey guys,just thinking whats the best stuff to use on bare metal under the wheel arch and underside of new floor pans,was thinking of etch primer then stonechip??what dothe pros think?? :2thumbs:
I don't care what is is designed to do,I want to know what it can do.

etch primer  & stone chip  :yesnod:  good plan  i done the same  :2thumbs:
but put a extra coat of  1k primer on it after the etch ..

although not stock or how the factory done it , but seam seal all the joints between the floors & chassis rails , any thing like that as damp/ moisture /water will get in there  :yesnod: ....

etch primer. what a waste of money. there is a new product that replaced it about 10 years ago called epoxy primer. :eyes:

ok jerry,whats the differance,im not a painter so not right sure, only learn what i pick up off here?? :shruggy: epoxy primer it is then :2thumbs:

epoxy primer is good stuff  :yesnod:  :yesnod:
etch should really  be used on all bare metal surfaces before any  type of primer  .  unless the product has self etching properties ,
