My did got his rebuilt 440 back from the shop. It goes in his 67 Charger.  I thought it was weird because it was painted blue (not terquoise like my 383).  I thought 440's were Hemi orange.  Is blue correct in 67?
Over?! its not over until we say it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?!...Hell no! and its not over now!..(Germans? Pearl Harbor?...shut up, he's on a roll)

According to http://www.mymopar.com/enginecolors.htm it should be turquoise .
Kinda weird, all 440 except HP should be blue....I've only seen them in orange.
No record of pre 66 440's and post 74.
Who's got a good list ?

Ya, that is weird.  That is a good link.  Maybe someone got the color wrong on it.  My Dad's 67 is just blue, I may have to tell him to have the shop look at it....I would be ticked if they painted mine wrong.

All the 1975 and later 400's and 440's I have seen are blue also.

I agree with the above that in 1967 440's were turquoise.
