Fan Clutch Part Number 69 440 a/c

What is the correct part number for the fan clutch for a 69 440 with air. I have the hayden clutch and 216 and under wot the fan blades are hitting the lower balancer pully.I'm at Carlisle and dont have my parts book here.Thanks

won't be cheap though if you find a NOS one   , be cheeper to buy  440 source stealth heads  :yesnod: :icon_smile_blackeye:
haydon do a shorter one from a  Jaguar that fits good !

Yeap, that's what is on my broadcast sheet for my Daytona... I know now thanks to Geno..  :2thumbs:

Haydon  part #  2765  is what everyone recomends  :yesnod:  last i heard !! although not tried one my self yet !!! but once i get around to putting my original 216 fan back on i'll get one of these clutches :yesnod:

I got one from Bouchillon performance today at Carlisle. Its a little longer then the Hayden I had.The hayden with my stock 216 fan and a/c placed the fan blades to close to the lower balancer pulley. This looks like a quality unit and cost $55.00.

The # 2806070 was not used with A/C. Read the application listed above.All A/C cars used the thermostatic clutch,not the torque style.

yes your right  , thanks for correcting  my miskake , always thought & previously  been  informed that  it was the 070 clutch   & i never looked at the list  that  had been posted    thanks guys for this info !! :cheers: :cheers:
