That's why I will never be able to own a Charger again. I can't even afford the rusted out crashed shells anymore. :P

nice set of slots  :yesnod: :drool5:
[/quote]I am going to do a 70s type custom, im going with cragar rims though. I bought the car a little more than 2 years ago and bought it for what i thought was a great price. It was 5k from a chevy guy, he threw in a 413 and trans and a extra 727 trans. The car is a factory 383 2 bbl, power steering and brake, power windows, center console and 95% rust free. Im in the resto stage and i WILL be asking a LOT of questions.

Good lookin project! What did you use to get the nasty undercoating off.  Thanks for everyones replies, Bad gas and or transmission fluid works very well ,it will penetrate the undercoating and make it mushey then scrape it with a scraper or razor blade on a end of a scraper. Now i searched what could be used to get into the nooks and crannies and and in general areas and found from a Buick website and found the tool to use is called a Scaller :2thumbs:. It is a MUST have they sell them at Harbor Freight and cost about $40 , they have videos on youtube of it in action.

Charger_69

I also used a high pressure washer to get in all the nooks and crannies and overall cleaning the underside in the process.
