Well I remember seeing it on the car when Bullitt gets off the taxi the second time.  There is obviously more than one car and they figure no one would notice.  :shruggy:

Hi All thanks for the comments . grdprx  I live in Massey ,Auckland and my plans are to just keep it factory ,have just changed the colour and interior colour etc.Original was FK5 with white vinyl top and interior but FK5 is not for me.I am going to reco the engine also just back to standard. It was a 3 owner car when I got it and not mucked around with to much apart from the white paint job and the flames. The original warranty card said it was sold new from Bill Breck Dodge in Arizona to an Alvah Cramer. Anybody know how to track down that person ?

grdprx

Looks great Kiwi!  I believe my uncle lives in Glen Edan.  Haven't been there since I was a youngun.

Landonsrt

Here's my just rescued from an early grave 69 R/T 440 car. Found it in a field in kentucky. Just sold my 04 SRT4 to pave the way for restoration of this rust bucket.

Awesome!  Welcome to the club!

Sunroof car?!

Hemidog

Looks more like a "permanent aftermarket" sunroof too me.
How are the frame rails?

426HemiCharger

Like previously mentioned, not a sunroof. Someone cut out a panel for what they needed or wahted ::)

I like your choice of car!  I always advise people to either buy a basket case or a perfect car, never buy a middle of the road car that has some flaws because you always get it to those cars deeper that you plan to.   Keep us posted on the progress and post lots of pictures

Dennis K

Here's one of mine taken at a show last summer. I just found the website yesterday. This is a link to a big pic, much better than what I could post with my own computer with the size limit here. http://community.webshots.com/photo/fullsize/2148875460101382115YJQECG

And HOOD PINS??? :o :o That is a rare option! :yesnod: Sweet find man. :2thumbs:

Edit, I don't think those are factory though.

Landonsrt

The frame rails are wasted on the rear. Everything front of the rear axle hump is in pretty good shape. Except for the floor pans. I think the hood pins are original. Rusted up pretty bad but I think I'll keep them.

Hemidog

The factory added hood pins should be further back, and closer to the fenders.

:iagree:

You still have a sweet project going on.

BoDuke

Great project, will you be doing any of the work yourself or farming it out?

Rustymuscle

Well, I can't believe it, but my Charger's finally done with paint!
