I happen to run across that vin number while randomly searching .And It reminded me about a prior lost alert it was lost or missing so I followed it up.Same deal when I read about DR Stuart Springers car in 1990.Then the vin appeared on here and reminded me that it was this car. Gotta follow them leads you never know where it will lead .I followed a lead on here recalled a particular vin and superbird got its original engine reunited in the 2nd link

It's like DEJA VU all over again  :o

The original owner of XX29L9B381547 (originally a F5/C6W car) was at the "Aero Reunion" with his son (who recently purchased a F6 Daytona).  He always wondered what happened to the Daytona he sold in '74.  pettybird, c5x & myself put our collective thoughts :scratchchin: together and I know the current owner & got the two together on the phone.

:shruggy: At this point I "assume" Dr. Springer no longer consideres his car missing/stolen?
