Now watch what you say or they'll be calling you a radical,
      a liberal, oh fanatical, criminal.
Won't you sign up your name, we'd like to feel you're
acceptable, respectable, oh presentable, a vegetable!

LOTR

I don't want to derail this thread, but speaking of LOTR, does anyone know IF and WHEN the extended version collection of the extended versions is coming out. I was told by a guy at Blockbuster like 6 months ago that a box collection containing ANOTHER 2 hrs or so was coming out this Christmas but I hevn't seen anything. Urban legend? Or has anyone else heard anything about it?

the original Longest Yard
The Die Hard trilogy (Yippie cay yay, motherf__cr!)
Beverly Hills Cop 1 & 2
48 Hours
The Last Boy Scout

I wanna say Easy Rider and Vanishing Point, but they have a lot of "hippie" elements that disqualify them, IMHO.

No girl will watch Ford Fairlane through it's entirety. If they do, you got a good woman.
Romeo Must Die has a great start to it.

I was young so don't hang me, but I always liked Cobra.

Also Charles Bronson gets an honorable mention.

Yeah, but it's about the movies YOU like...not making a list. Even if it's already listed, put it in your list...I'd be curious to see which ones get the most mentions...
Life is a highway...

a few more come to mind:

Miller's Crossing
Papillon
Lonesome Dove - not sure this qualifies but it was a good mini-series.
A Fact of Life: After Monday and Tuesday even the calendar says WTF.........

Towering Inferno
Road Warrior / Mad Max
Missing in Action 1 & 2
Under Siege
Flight of the Intruder
Crimson Tide
Hard to Kill
Tango & Cash

damn...now that I think about it, the late 80's/early 90's was the golden age of the unapologetically macho movie.
