Hello all, I found this rivet (or whatever it's called) on the floor of my 69 Charger over the summer. I have the 6-way seat option. I wondered where it came from and just found out after pulling apart my interior to put in my Dynomat. It' a steel rivet that holds the driver's 6-way seat track together. Apparently my fat ass overstressed the thing and it failed. It's a small part and I dont know if anyone knows if it's available anywhere? Any suggestions? It's stepped so a using standard bolt will not work.

I have included a shot of the track (from Nick's site-thank you Nick) and indicated the rough area where this thing goes.

Any thoughts? Thanks for the help. Think spring.

Man that looks like a tall order Mike...mine are probably failing as well because my track is sloppy as all hell.

Possible you can use a carriage style bolt & cut off the end?   I know it also has to pivot in that area as well....

Yep, mine was/is sloppy but held together until I removed the seat then it fell apart. If I find a fix I'll post it Chris. Seems that I like a challenge.  :shruggy:

I have a 69 6-way or a 70 out in the barn, have to look. See what it is for sure. See what I can do.

Looks like the ones, the smashed down part of the head is not all that big. Did not notice if it needs to slide any or not, but I think used mostly for locating the other parts.
