I've heard that the 68 and 69 lower dash pads are not the same. Is there a change with the ignition key hole? I do not know for sure. Any input? Pictures would help, Thanks Johnny.

The lowers are the same on a 68-9 Charger. It is the top pad that is different.

The lower pad around the ignition is actually differant. The size of the hole itself is larger on a 69 pad.Other than that they are the same.

colors are different between 68 versus 69
the lower dash pad on  68's have the cutout above the ashtray where the a/c vent ,( if so equipped) goes to the right of the switch controls area , or the curved metal plate if not a/c equipped.

69's the pad is cutout only if it's an A/C pad

upper pad is completely different between the 2

A further question about the lower dash pad on a 69 ac car.  Has it been repoped?  I ask because mine is pulling away at the top.  I've kept my eye open for one of these but have not actually run across one.

moparmoynihan

There working on them. I talked to BE/A and there in the works. Not yet though :shruggy:
