Its hard to put an exact value on a car with such a cool history, but I doubt it will sell for that in this economy.....but ya never know.  scratchchin

More cool history to ad to the one off daytona .It came from Cherry Hill dodge as seen on the shiplist.Cherry Hill dodge is my hometown local dealer being going there for over 20+ years. And earlier posted pictures showed Cherry Hill dodge glove box service decal .This would be a nice addition Twocents

I would never touch this car and leave it alone. somewhere down the line people will recognize the value leaving it as is . remember the piece of rare furniture on the antique roadshow  where they say your piece as it is worth 50k  ,but had you not sanded it down and refinished it it would be worth 300k.
Maybe not now  but in the future I believe thats the way it would go. But yeah it depends on a lot of factors obviously the owner didn't touch it as he believes that it would have deminished the value.

You wouldn't sand down Tomiko's helmet and redo it . Theres people who love the car as it sits ,and people who hate it as it sits,  a car is original only once and even though it is messed up  hey its history.

we had that car here for a while and in several of the guy's opinions . the car can't be left as is . it will need attention. i say restore it to it's drag racing state and keep it as original as you can .  Twocents

I would stop the rust, make it road Worthy, and that's it. That's been said before, and is my opinion as well.  Twocents

maybe Id go as far as fixing the rust holes but doing it a certain way and just touching up a few spots with rust stop .  but boy look at the incredible patina on the drivers door , you just can't destroy that it is way to cool having the faded original pinstriping. and as long as its outta the elements  rust will not go further. If you use napa spray on permatex or extend rust killer it clearcoats it and stops it but it looks the same.
