I'm thinking of getting a better pair than I have and was just wondering what they bring now to see if I should just work out the ones I have.  May check out the Charlotte Auto fair to see whats available.

I dropped by Steve Schweitzer's salvage yard last week and he says that he's getting $500 each for nice solid 70 Coronet fenders. He's also getting $500 and up for rust free hoods. I'm glad I bought mine when I did.
Of course it's only going to help the guy that buys my Superbird clone project. I'm going to sell the car and all of the parts for what I have in them. I just  have to figure up how much I have in everything first before pricing it.
I can't see building a Superbird clone now that I have a real bird. I can use that time, energy and money restoring my 71 Cuda instead.

Wow, I reckon they've gone up a lot since I bought mine at $200 ea in Dec 08.  Thanks for the info.  I may have to just make do with the ones I got unless I run across a good deal.  At least it gives me a ballpark figure to go by.  My hood was only $80 for a good one.

I sold clean rust free pair $500 from parting out a 4dr.Pr still got plenty of flat hoods
