Well I was pretty proud of my mechanical abilities cause I got the right length wiper blades installed...You guessed it, I have a 72 with hidden wipers, and the modern blades are so thick that they are stuck under the hood and won't work.  Any ideas as to where to get a skinnier blade?

Also there is some light scoring on the windshield from the old blades, any ideas as to how to buff or polish that out?

Thanks, Mark

Anco and Trico still make the refills right ? I think still the complete blades too. I have sen them announced on ebay quite often ( not just the refills )... but dunno if NOS or still being made.

Some other will be able to chime on better since I don't live in USA

Welcome BTW

Yeah that did it I did not know they still sold the refills separately.  Most places just stock the blade with the refill already in place.  The third place I stopped had the refills.  Thanks Nacho.

It never rains in southern California until your wiper blades are useless from cooking in the sun since last April.

Anyone ever had luck with getting the score marks buffed out of the windshield?

Thanks, Mark
