I love it....

I cant stand the steel wheels, whether or not thats how the car was originally equipted I would get some 500's for the 500 as fast as possible. :shruggy:
wingless now, but still around.

Hemicars came only with 15" steel wheels in '69 (at least after the W25 cast aluminum wheels were recalled).  The only question would be whether the car came with W11 "turbine" style full wheel covers on black-painted steelies (same as what was available in 1968), or the dog dish hub caps and body-color steelies which were standard equipment otherwise.  Magnum500's look great but were never on a 1969 hemi-equipped car since they were 14" wheels.

1970 had better wheel options...   :yesnod:

maxwellwedge

Yup - You could get a 14" Road Wheel on a 70 B-Body Hemi........But not on an E-Body Hemi.

To me - Nothing looks better than than a body color steelie with dogs.....It screams Hemi!

I can't say for certain but I am pretty sure it is not the same car that was in the magazine that Dave posted. I think its the car I had heard was in ohio. I had 1 picture of the car previously but its hard to tell. I do not have the fender tag information for the car so no way to know for 100% I guess, but I do have the VIN for the other car as well as the one that was in the magazine.

Of the 500's these two 99 99 paint cars are two of my favorite 500's right after the press release cars. I just like 4 speed cars without a console. I like the way the interior looks like that. So now instead of dropping $238,000 on the house we looked at last weekend I should show this car to my wife and see what she will say.  :slap:

different steering wheel also !   :shruggy:   :popcrn:

Thanks Ed so this is the same car as my pictures from a 86 magazine article except they added a radio and white stripe vin as I recall 154045. Once again hows as archive material brings out the truth. Another example when truth comes out thanks to archive material .From my town there was a untouched 71 Hemi Cuda sold new from our local dealer .I seen and knew this car for years wasnt far from my house .Chatted with owner took pictures.Years later in 80-s car gets sold.I see car again. With changes new owner said it was that way when he bought it billboards etc .But my archive pictures show it as it was and much different as presented .
