I've caught these in Wallowa Lake before but the ones I got were about 10 inches long. This one's a monster!

Here's some info on Wallowa Lake if anyone cares: http://www.josephoregon.com/wallowa_lake.htm

The weight was 9 lbs. 6 oz. to 9 lbs. 10 oz. (depending on who you ask) and 27 3⁄4" long with a 17 3⁄4" girth.

Good looking fish. I've never even heard of them before.

That looks like a great place to fish in your neck of the woods. Damn I miss the Pacific Northwest - it's just freakin' beautiful!

That shot is trickery done with perspective,.. he's holding it up really close to the camera to make it look really big...

     sorry...

Perhaps, Bull said the only ones he ever catches are just 10 inches long.

But no, no, this one really is Fishzilla!

Shortly after the photograph it devoured the man and leapt back into Wallowa Lake to digest its meal and wait for the next unfortunate angler to come along with a jigging spoon. That's how these things feed!

All fisherman do it (including myself) sure does make the fish look alot bigger than it is...the real trick is holding it close to the camera but making it appear like you have it by your side.

Won't you sign up your name, we'd like to feel you're

Thought Kokanee is a piss-water Canadian beer...

It is. They named it after a fish. :2thumbs:
