I know who several of the regulars are but I will be working on the name tags tomorrow provided by DSAC......Thanks Doug :)

So post  here with your real names if going and or PM if you want to stay Secret.

Spouses names too, if they are coming.

I will have some blanks to write names on for ones that I don't know about

I need to get these done by Tues, since I will be fixing the cake for Thurs. night at Rich's on Wed.

And also by the way word here is that the Track has been purchased and was told by what should be a reliable source.

Ah crap, I guess that means that they've rejected my offer.  :coolgleamA:

Sorry to hear that Allen.  Hope to see you next year perhaps?? ??

Danny, I know you'd be there if you could.  Nothing like moving day (makes me tired just thinking about it).

Thursday night is a no-go for me at the White Rose, as I have a class that night.  Good Lord willing, I'll be at Rich's on Friday with a new-look ride making its official debut.  Looking forward to seeing everyone either there or at Gateway.  Speaking of which, I still need to make one last call to the track manager... maybe he'll cough up the name of the new owner and what their plans are.

Thanks Gene, I definitely hope to make it back next year again!  With the Aero car activities included, it has been my favorite event for the past few years...

We won't be able to drive up on Thursday as planned. That's the day that we find out whether my daughter is having a boy or a girl and she has big plans for a family get-together that evening. We plan to drive up Friday instead. We will be at the Mopad Friday evening with Allen and the gang. We'll be staying at the Doubletree so we may get in on some of the dinner plans with other wingcar owners.

I guess you are talking about the half dozen or so that I posted in another DC.Com thread, but I have posted well over a 100 on your not-so-favorite forum due to their attachment limit being 700K... I still have had to host some from my PhotoBucket account.  I guess its time I get a paid PhotoBucket account so I can set up large albums there.  I estimate that there are over 10,000 photos in my old archives, at just the 1982 CCCC (aka Mopar Nats) meet in St Louis I took over 400 pics.

I have located about 80% of my negatives and will start getting reprints made soon.  Many of my better pictures were in a 3 inch thick "mother-of-all" photo album that was stolen during a Waco Street Machine Mini-Nationals in the late 1980s, so some of the pictures I have not seen in 20 years!

Here is one that I recently posted... returning from the Mid-America race track to the Holiday Inn headquarters hotel.  The picture was taken from a friend's Hemi `Cuda, and I was driving the B5 Blue 1969 Hemi GTX half-way back in the line.

we will miss you Alan, hope you will be able come up next year

I'll be there with my friend Joe Setaro.  We're taking his car this time - a B5 blue/white interior '70 Road Runner convertible.

We should get to the track early afternoon on Friday.  We'll probably park with the Chicagoland Mopar Connection.  But don't worry, I'll wander over to harass you all.

We'll miss you Allen. It won't be the same. It would be great if we could all be there every year.

Just thought of this. I'm trailering the bird. Where do we park the truck and trailer? I plan to drive the car back and forth to the hotel at night.

There's plenty of room out back at the Doubletree.

I did not get in at the Doubletree at the show rates, but am at the Four Points Sheraton in Fairview Hts.  $76 nite AAA rate.   Super nice hotel.  Lots of parking.

Wish I could make it the this show.  I have never been to this one but have always wanted to.  My boss will be there with the Vit C 440/6 'Bird.  He told me I could go if I wanted but I really have too much stuff going on right now.  I'm also trying to wrap up the restoration on the other Superbird "Surprisebird".  It should be finished within the next few weeks.  Hopefully I'll be able to make it to this show next year.  Yall have a good time and take plenty of pictures!
