Will a vinyl roof for a 74 SE fit on a 73-74 non se car?

anybody know? i see 2 different part numbers on year one, but that doesnt mean they arent going to work. Dante's parts website shows they are the same though.

Yes, but no, hehehe.

I mean, yes you can fit it BUT non SE Chargers don't have the SEs C pillars trim, don't have the body plug filler to fit the louvers or the opera window frame like some rare models.

Would need also to make extra cut outs to the quarter windows and specially to the drip rail area above it.

SEs vinyl tops works to CANOPY top option, making the extra cuts, available on non SEs models with molding between both sides quarter window "boomerang" moldings... all along the roof side to side. This kind of top also covers the A pillar post like the SE.

But SEs vinyl doesn't arrive to the area below the rear window to the Full vinyl options called "halo" top, where have the moldings. This "halo" top doesn't meet with drip rails because in fact has an extra molding  on roof, and neither covers the A pillar, but these details are not a big deal. The BIG deal really is the lenght up to rear glass, almost to deck lid.
