I was so shocked to learn this.  My charger picture of my car in my garage is GPS embedded and I didn't know it?  On my iphone in the picture section if I hit the location button it shows 2 pictures of my charger and exactly where I took them.  You can scroll right to my house address and into my garage using the google side view.  WTF?  I changed my settings on my phone so no one knows from my pictures where I took them.  Children anyone?  Point being any picture you post on photobucket or FaceBook etc.... can have a GPS locater address in it.  Not good.

Love it, let me find the link. You just drive into it and then throw the flap down and zip it up and the fans move air through it.

  :o  scary stuff
So here's the question?  How do you know which picture is embedded and which is not?  So you have to find a way to check all your pictures ever posted? Yuk.

You can turn that feature off.
How do you know what pictures you posted in the past are embedded?

I think the first thing you need to do is determine if any of your digital image devices even support this feature and if it does was it enabled. After that you need to figure out what images from that device you might have posted or published. I can't really think of anything else you can do beyond those 2 things.  :shruggy:

I bought a smart phone once. Turns out it wasn't smart enough to send a picture in a text message unless I upgraded my service, so I sent it back.

Just google for the info.

Here's most phones. I think this is for just GPS, on my iphone I shut off GPS for "camera" only.  But it's a start for you.
