last monday night. I had to get that beer when I saw the name...it's as if it was made just for me.

And NO...I was not driving. We had a couple of hours to kill before a Steel Panther show, so we hit the liquor store and went back to the parking lot and hung out in the car.

I discovered them about 5 years ago, but they've been doing their 80's metal spoof act for about 10 years. They play every monday night at a club on the Sunset Strip, though since they finally put out their record a few months ago theyre finally getting a lot of well deserved publicity and they've been doing shows in England, Japan, and strange foreign places like KC. I try to go at least once a month, cuz it's never the same show.

I wonder how crazy their "tour" shows get...here in L.A. it's always a parade of sluts :drool5: and celebrities (I once got to feel Avril Lavigne's ass when the band pulled her up on stage and she had to jump over the crowd to get there and she went right over my head) . On Monday night they had the guy from N Sync and Carlton from the Fresh Prince join them onstage. I had no intention whatsoever to feel their asses.

yeah, you'd be surprised at the celebs that go to their show. Not all the time, but most of the time. In the times I've seen them they've played with or messed with  the guy from the Darkness, Avril Lavigne (see my ass grabbing story above), the singer from Linkin Park, a couple of guys from the Dodgers, Tony Romo, Tom Morello, and bunch of others. Unfortunately I've missed the really big celebrities, though the drawback to the celebs is that once they get onstage the band spends too much time bantering with them, which takes away from the music they should be playing.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?
