          ASSEMBLY LINE CORRECT NOS WHEEL VALVE STEM EXTENSIONS REVISITED!
 Back almost 3 years to the day I shared information on the assembly line valve stem extensions in reply #1062!
First off I want to add this would be for the Superbirds with the 14" and 15" rally wheels with trim rings.
The part number for these extensions is 2660315 and they came in a 4 pack sealed plastic bag in the trunk.
I was able to find a set of these but couldn't open the factory sealed bag and install them.
So that bag is kept in a safe spot in the glove box for display only!
Recently I was able to buy a set of NOS extensions not in a sealed bag and actually install them!
In my first picture I show the sealed bag and the superceded NOS valve stems that were on the Superbird.
In the second picture I show the loose assembly line correct valve stem extensions ready to install.
In the third picture I show the last of the 4 correct extensions installed!
In a twist of fate while I already had the information and pictures ready for this post, I was sorting through
my old valve stems, cores and caps and came across 2 of the Superbird original valve stem extensions!
I show these in my last picture. They have the drilled white core and SCHRADER USA on the outer rim.
If you have a survivor Superbird and need 1 or 2 of these rare extensions to complete a set contact me.
I will sell them to someone who will actually use them on their survivor.

                 ASSEMBLY LINE NOS LUG NUTS!
Well I have not be able to log on here in a while so I thought I would post about this tonight while I can!!
I bought this cloth bag of assembly line NOS lug nuts a while back with 10 left's and 10 right's.
So I decided after I installed the assembly line valve stem extensions to install the lug nuts next.
My first picture shows the cloth bag and one side of assembly line lug nuts.
My second picture shows the assembly line lug nuts close up.
Notice the variation in the pimples on the top and nice shiny chrome plating.
The third picture shows a comparison on the assembly line lug nuts.
The BE&A reproductions are on top and the assembly line ones are on the bottom.
The BE&A are more uniform and have circle type tooling marks on the end!
The last picture shows the assembly line lug nuts installed on our Superbird!
