Pretty sure the old stealth's were front wheel drive unless you opted for the AWD option. I remember in High School when the Twin Turbo version was the car to have in Moparland.

Same, I think the AWD was an option on them and the twin turbos were AWD standard.

My wife wants a sporty car when we go to trade the Intrepid.  I would like one of these.  :icon_smile_big:  What can I expect to pay for a nice used one?

The problem would be more of FINDING a nice used one.  Those cars were beat the hell out of by their owners, usually.  Same with the 3000GT.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

The Stealth is basically a 2 person vehicle. The back seats are for looks only. If you want a quick car you want the RT/TT. The Stealth is a rugged car and quite heavy, I believe around 4000 lbs. (can't find my owners manual). The base version is a slug. The first gen. models were awesome looking, had a Viperish look, the later models looked more like a ford torus. The first year model 1991 have electronic front suspension which would never work right. They also had a problem with the synco gears on the manual tranny. They now make replacement parts from what I hear.
Unless you can find one that has been adult owned it's entire life it has probably been abused by a young driver. Trust me on that one.
I know someone on the moparts board bought a RT/TT last year for $ 3,500.00 runs and drives. Most members agree he got a smokin' deal. Depending on the year and condition your probably looking at 5-10k for a RT/TT.
It's too bad you didn't live closer. I'm selling my 91 RT/TT for 6k but would take $5,500. since it needs a little cosmetic work.
