Nice setup. I have some 16" 5x130 Fittistars that look just like your wheels but are 3-pieces I'm probably selling.
I plan on upgrading my 944 to MAF then putting a very small G60 Corrado supercharger into it and run 7-8psi. Should get around 200whp.

How much has the BMW set you back so far?
1969 Charger RT

Probably less then you would think.

Id say around 8k give or take. A lot of killer deals made sure of that.

For example, the rims i got on a trade and the guy threw in 100$, a friend of mine literally GAVE me e30 parts and told me to do what i want with em so a lot of them were sold/traded. Also vendors (really the small guys) like condor speed shop, guten parts, motorsport hardware...LOVE to help the little guys and give me some steep discounts in exchange for me putting up pics of their stuff or throwing some stickers on my car. And i gladly steer customers their way.

Waste of money or money that could have went to the charger? Without a doubt on the latter, but this car has given me something the Charger simply could never do. Not because its fast or handles, but i could go out and beat the living crap out of it, dents, scratches, whatever..and i dont mind it one bit. I could never go out with the Charger and do that, esp after all the money ive put into it. I mean yeah im gonna enjoy it and drive the crap out of her...but this car i could take to track/drift events and just have tons of fun, and if the worst happens well then so be it, id buy a shell and move everything salvageable over.

Finn

Older BMWs are where its at if you want to get into track events in a car that has the ability to grow with you. My friends are on the bimmerforums and building their....6th?...BMW. Currently they're doing an E28 for track use. I showed them your E30 (and the videos), they loved it!

Thanks Finn!

Got a link?

And just as an example gp, e30 almost buys the farm during this run when i hit a patch of ice/water. Could never do this with the Charger.

Not much good action in that video really. Bit of an off night, and the diff has about had it at this point...waiting for a bud to build me a nice 4 clutch 60% lockup diff.

Just me being a nosey old man. :icon_smile_big:

I understand the second project to just beat on and let whatever happen. Was going to do JUST that with the Ramcharger but 4 wheeling just was never my thing, so it will be sold later this year.

Sorry but I don't think the drifter is my style either, was thinking of a wrong year GTO clone..73 Venture w TA scoop and a 400 Pontiac....Pea green of course.

Had my first drift event with the e30, had TONS of fun. Did OK, from start to end i improved greatly so thats all i could ask for. Anyways, onto the pics, i know you guys love pics.
