daytona trunk hinges

i just got my daytona trunk hinges and they seem twisted.  maybe its just me but no matter what side they dont seem right. any ideas???

i bolted the trunk lid to mine and man handle it,  till i bent them into the correct position  :scratchchin:

everything has to be tweeked at least a little     :icon_smile_big:

OK so i think i figured it out. i installed the trunklid and marked where to weld the brackets. welded them on and installed the hinges loosely to the trunk lid. once installed i found the trunk lid shifted to the left about 2 inches. after an hour of tweaking i can now close the trunk lid.

Should have shot me a PM if you were havin troubles,...I know I "toe tagged" each hinge with a "driver side", "passenger side" wire tag holding the push clips,.... no 2 cars will be quite the same when trying to do these conversions, some tweaking is to be expected whether your using original or repro parts,....wait until you get into the nosecone, that's when the real hair-pulling starts :icon_smile_big:
