2nd gen console carpeting on the sides?

Hi - seen pics of consoles with carpeting going up onto the sides of the consoles (up to the chrome trim)...

Is that correct?

Bought carpets from year one - including a piece called console piece or something - havenĀ“t received it yet - but would that be it?

looks like carpeting on the sides would be natural the way the chrome trim runs along the sides!

Does trim have to come off and then attatched onto the "edge" of the carpet material?

Just 6T9 CHGR

The console carpet are 2 seperate pieces that get glued to the console.   There are different pieces for an auto or 4 speed console.
They "tuck under" the chrome trim as well

yup   what Chris said...    when it comes it will be in a box labeled "Coronet console carpet kit" or something...   dont fret - its the same thing
