GO SELL CRAZY SOMEWHERE ELSE WE ARE ALL STOCKED UP HERE

Ghoste

There's another one that somebody needs to record an interview with (are you reading this Danny?).  Arlen Vanke hits most of the Mopar shows and swap meets that are somewhat local (midwest) to him as well.  That's another guy who's story needs to be told.

I found a few more pictures recently, when the estate of Carl Cameron was auctioned off. Carl (Cal) Cameron was a noted designer at Chrysler in the 1960's, best known as the principle designer of the original Dodge Charger, and the Dodge Challenger.

Very interesting.... You know that concept looks like a flattened out 84-96 Corvette especially from the windshield forward.
Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.

DAY CLONA

More pics are available in Chuck Miller's autobiography book "Styline Customs"...and while the Flying Dutchman funny car was indeed HEMI powered, the Chrysler Charger III was not, regardless of any magazine claims (you'll never see any driveline photos) Chuck Miller painted the car for Chrysler, the most interesting photo in Chuck's book is the schedule 80 plumbing elbows and nipples that make up the front suspension and wheel spindles, the Charger III lead it's life as a mocked up roller....still a cool car though

Old Moparz

I wish I still had the toy version from the late 60's.

Someone on Moparts once posted this set of pics. Supposedly an old fiberglass replica or something.   :shruggy:

I think MCG had those pics in an issue as well.  There is speculation it could be one of the Mr. Norm ones.

To be fair to dodge, that car pretty much called modern super/hyper car design

If its fibreglass , ? Guys why does it look like its rusting,
Back when I worked as a graphic designer with 3M Australia , Holden over here pulled out there long almost forgotten  concept show cars and this reminds me of one particular car
Google it and you will see what I mean, lift canopy very similar to that , actually car very close to that, 1968 I think , had a GM v8 in it when they weren't that common, tv screens for revision mirrors because it was impossible to see out the rear, can't remember but could have been fuel injected, which we would see for awhile yet at the time I viewed this car
I will never forget the brakes, discs Encased in hubs filled with fluid , metal pads supposedly so low wear or none at all,
It was originally called the Holden hurricane, I got the pleasure of redoing the name and stripes to it
