We just installed the new yearone harness into my rt/se 69
We added the accessory cables to the fuse box as the original
The car has cruise and a/c and light package, but these are the parts that the harness inside the car are connected to.

The problem is this:

A relay mounted left to the glove box has a black wire with white trace connected to the fuse box.
From the relay comes two yellow ones and one of them are wrapped with a black cable.
we guess that it has to do with some lights but we cant figure it out. the yellow cables to the doors are alredy there.

ok some update, on some old photos we see three yellow wires going to the righthand door switch and two going to the left hand door switch.
Some one with A01 light package know anything about this?

the black white trace wire is a main power wire , but where did it connect  :brickwall:

bobfist

Hi!
yes that black with trace are connected into the accessory in the fusebox and then runs out to a relay next to the glove box. the two yellow ones also connected to this really are the question :(

typically yellow is used for dome light column key light circuits only

bobfist

Yes, but the strange thing is that my option isn't in the wiring diagrams.
One other thing is, did all A01 option cars have the headlight door relay as well? or just the 1970?

What relay?

I have the dash out of a 1969 Charger now, and am installing the light pkg pieces while it's out.

and I do not have any kind of relay

Solved the problem, the door connector on the right side had three yellow cables connected and the left one had two yellow.
All these came from a dimmer relay dimmer the light after the doors are closed.

I think the "relay" is the headlight on warning buzzer.
