WOW Cool video, thanks for sharing

WTF is up with the traffic and the need to tailgate back then like it is in today's world. Can't stand tailgating.

But man that '71 Hemi is bad A$$. Looks to be late 70s early 80s video.

68RT440

Interesting, the rear pic you can see a squared off mirror and the rear valance corner seams are gooped up with seam sealer...
1968 Charger R/T, matching numbers 440/727, black with green top and interior, currently getting restored by me

yeah ! good spot  :2thumbs:  ,  I saw the rear valance seams  filled with sealer  , thought at first  , maybe its because it was a early production pilot ( guess )car  :shruggy:  then saw the mirror  , odd !  prolly see better out that one  ;D  ,  interesting forsure   , think I can see rear seat belts too , & single exhaust ,  maybe a slant six  or 318 or a 383 2barrel !  , red with white & a black top  ,  cant recall any of the other promo / press article chargers  having white interior , that I can remember  :scratchchin: will have a look through some mags later  :scratchchin:

What about the head rests? Werent those a mid year addition? Kinda weird seeing them on a pilot car...

as far as I know !  headrests were always & a option on a 68 charger , ever since it was introduced , &  not a mid / little ways through the year , new option thing  ,    headrests  became standard equipment  ,  January the first 69  , so you could have  a  early 69 charger  , built  1968  with out headrests .

think  front shoulder belts were optional on early built 68 cars .

Thank God X2. That thing is hideous.
