The 28 should be for a 28" radiator. You have a very late build date on that car....probably the last week of production for 1973.

Perhaps someone has a picture of the V7W stripe on a 1973 Charger they can post for comparison.

accent stripes are just a thin line that runs all along the upper body line, not that one...

konigcharger;

Here's a picture of my unrestored '73 SE with the White Factory Paint Stripe - V7W.  Mine kindof has a "strobe" effect because it's 33 years old.  Should probably be a solid paint line but looks like the paint roller they used had more paint on one side of the wheel than the other.

Anyhow, unless you are sure your car has never been painted, I would say this would have been the factory stripe.  Who know's for sure...

Just a couple of points on your fender tag:

D41 is probably B41 - Power front disc brakes

C11 is probably G11 - Tinted glass, all windows

G35 on 1973's is Chrome left ouside racing-style mirror

Your seat code for an SE is probably H6F6 - High, vinyl buckets, green

The V7W is definitely for the body side accent paint stripe (in white) shown in JimsSE's picture.  Had the paint stripe been deleted the code would be V78.

thanks guys good to know for sure still gonna keep the stripe it was pretty dark when i got out to the car so i'm pretty confident a couple are gonna be off (i did it by flashlight) i still like the stripe still dont think the car was painted must be wrong anyway will  continue to post  :icon_smile_big:

If you have no vision or creative spirit, you can always fall back on the way the factory did it.

The stipe looks good but it looks to be too long, and a bit too high up on the car. All of the ones I have seen wrap around the turn signals.

   It looks good with that color , how much more do you have to do with the car to be complete?

Honestly right now i've stopped any real work on the car the car still needs:

some body work, repainted / restriped, new headliner some interior work (mostly finished that last year), it runs good but it needs front end rebuilt (new suspension) and all the little things

other than that i'm thinking about doing some engine work maybe a stroker kit? six pack? don't really know i have plenty of time i'm only 20

allready replaced: rallye dash (added 150 speedo and tac), put all new lower door panels in it new steering wheel, have a new dash pad, re painted grills, swapped taillights for  a set of '71 R/T's, well i could go on but thats the major stuff the plan this spring is to just drive and enjoy it maybe do some work later in the year :icon_smile_big:
