What wheels are these?

  I have a '70 that came with these...  They are RUBBERY to the touch.  I think I've seen them on a Cordoba???   :rotz:

I had those on my 69 SuperBee came on the car, lasted 3dys then got rid of them, don't look good on B-Bodys.

they are polycast rims...they feel rubbery to the touch because they basically are...they are a rubber coating of some sort over a steel wheel. I had some on my cougar

bought it at an auction at the masons lodge,
Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....

on another note about those rims...1, they don't like to have tires roasted off of them (as the polycast melts along with the tire) 2, if you drive down gravel roads alot the rims will "stick" to the rear hubs ( i literally used a sledge hammer and 4x4's to get the rear wheels off my cougar when i did the brakes), and 3, when you jump the railroad track repeatedly they begin to "warp" lol....
