I have been decoding remnants of my broadcast sheet. I see TX9 is the code for rallye wheels painted black. What color is TX8? Thanks.

Just 6T9 CHGR

Where are you seeing this code and what year car is this for?

Generally if the car is coded for full hubcaps the color code will be X9 for black steel wheels

If its coded just for dog dish caps, it will have body colored wheels (ie. F8, Q5, R4 etc)

If the car is coded for W21 trim ring Road Wheels, the code will be X9 as well (spare tire)

These are off 69 Broadcast sheets

This is a 1972 Charger Rallye. It has the "21" under "road wheel" box (which is under WH/COV).
It has a "22" code under "wheel cover" which is the 15" trim ring.
Has "70" code under "spare tire" which is 15" spare painted.
Under "wheels", then under "road"it has code "71" which is 15" styled rallye (slotted) wheels.
Next to this box under "color" it has code "TX8". Its printed quite clearly so I know its not a 9.
