whats the corrct paint code for that black primer that hot rodders use for their 32 rods etc.?-MATT

An epoxy primer made by Transtar will produce that look.  The primer number is 6161, the activator number is 6141, the mix ratio is 1:1.  Since it's an epoxy type primer, it will act as a sealer so you don;t have to worry about rust, so long as there is none underneath.

Most of the rat rod guys I know use PPG's DP50LF. Put in twice the amount of the hardner then it calls for for that old stile look. I've go it on my shop truck right now. Don't shoot me its a 66 El Camino. I don't want it to look better then the Chargers in the shop right now. Do I?  ;D
