Besides the speeling?

me thinks the hood could be amiss, but the sign is definitely the highlight of that photo. (the surveyor line could technically be correct, and not even make for the strangest use of a wing car. larry b. once used a daytona as a soda fountain repairman vehicle.)

It was HOT there, I know I wasn't thinking as clearly as usual and would never challenge for a spelling bee title. :icon_smile_big:

What did you think of the car?

I know back in the day lots of cars had the nose cone moulded to the fenders but I am not a fan.

Not much at all & judging by the lack of people checking it out, I would venture to say that others had the same opinion. On another note, what's the thoughts on the asking price on the blue one under the pavillion?  :eek2:

Can't be all original sheetmetal, that's a '70 Charger hood, not a Daytona..

What was the asking price on this one? I am guessing like 95k? And was there another Daytona for sale there too?

Ghoste

And are there more pics of one and some of the other?

Beep Beep Dave

$98,900 for the Y2 one and $285k for the B7 one with while stripe that was in MCG a few years ago. It was a fresh resto.
My pics are too big to post here.

WOW!!  On both, just frickin' wow!  Would it be an accurate guess that neither one sold?

FJ5WING

I didnt see any price posted on the yellow car but hated that the nose seam was filled to the fenders.

no comment on the blue car other than it was beautiful.
wingless now, but still around.

As a teacher, that sign makes me cringe :icon_smile_angry:  How can anybody murder the English language to that extent?  I don't care what the asking price is, I couldn't give my money to an idiot like that.  If that's how he spells, I can only imagine what his mechanical skills must be ::)
If he does end up selling it, maybe he could use the money to go back to school.

Ghoste

While I agree wholeheartedly on the spelling comments I do have to say that some of the best mechanics I have ever met were not necessarily the most literate people.  But I wouldn't buy that car at that price either.
