On a 1970 Charger R/T, what's this tube for?

 dont see many 70 chargers   with them , its  fuel vapour return line stuff  for california sold cars only as far as i know   
the gas tank has  four  vapour line connections  too ,

My car has that tube. When I bought the car I thought that it might have been some type of dual fuel filler neck!

nope no 68s or 69s  , only  70 & up i believe

my old 70 satellite had that but on the driver side, thought bout takin it out and putting a charger filler on it all the time haha
