Finally getting the Engine back in the car.... :icon_smile_big:

67Charger440

On Saturday, I finished putting factory hard lines back in the '67.  They had to have both ends cut and rebent to work with my Phantom in-tank setup and then to come straight up the firewall and mated to the braided lines coming off the throttle body and regulator.  No leaks right out of the gate, but figured out at the gas station that I had forgotten to cap the vent line.  Lost about a gallon to that goof.

Now back to tuning the fuel injection and adding in the ignition system for the LS coil-near-plug setup using Mectech's trigger wheel and bracked and the Jeep cam-sensor to distributor bushing adaptor.

if you don't mind me asking, why are you selling?

I had tried to sell it a couple times locally but no luck but with the sucky Canadian dollar exchange rate I thought I would give ebay a try to see what would happen

I have a couple things to spend the money on

Work on the 69 Daytona clone project

I also got a MicroFit contract to put solar panels on my barn roof to sell electricity back to the grid at a very good price and will give me free spending money every month for the next 20 years

Awesome!  That has to feel good being able to sell electricity back.   :yesnod:

A daytona clone sounds like a lot of fun.  My wife has mentoned a few times that she realy likes Daytonas.  I don't know if I'd ever want a real one as my every move will likely be tracked and I'm not up for that.  A nice clone however would probably work out nicely as I'd be able to drop a modern engine and trans in there as well without creating a stir.

Last Sunday:  Poured oil into the engine for the first time in 8 years!

Yesterday: I got the radiator bolted in, including the hoses and the tranny lines.  Bolted in the vacuum canister and the battery tray.  Installed the carb.  Loosely installed the vacuum hoses for the headlight doors.  Worked on engine wiring, getting ready to wire in Mopar Performance version of the MSD 6AL.

It's really starting to look like something now!

Sinnamon got front and back glass installed...

And she starts with a key !    Still needs throttle, kickdown figured out and some brakes to move under her own power tho.
