Wow... more competition !!!  :nana:

Apparently someone thinks I'm way too much in this economy......  :o

Guess I should have stated date-code and period correct as well........... Ah heck... No need... a car either has its original motor or not..... But, it could be true that it is as correct as possible........... F8.. that's what Dad had new........... F6 is close to the one I'm "trying" to get....

Good luck to all....... I like the F8 with the white stripe/wing

( This vehicle has another quality which is, only (10) vehicles left the factory with the F8 exterior color. )

What book is he reading?

F8 is love it or hate it.  My 68 was supposed to be F8 and I just couldn't paint it back to that color.

I was going to look at the power steering pump to see if it had a cooler as a clue (since 4.10 Dana cars were equipped with a cooler). But, it appears it has the Federal pump instead of the correct Saginaw....... sooooooooo, no clue now......

it always bugs me that people who "restore" these cars and others put 2 groove alternators on a non-A/C car

The car might not be as nice as in the pictures.. If I'm not mistaken, the car has a glass nose? Also, I see that the kickdown linkage is all wrong which makes me wonder if there's such lack of attention to detail, then what else is wrong.. Nice paint, but is it only skin deep?.... Just an observation.......... I know I'd be leary of such a car.

Maybe not perfect, but damn nice, especially for the price. Does anyone here have a perfect car?
too many to list!

History and restoration is well known on the F8 so nothing to be Leary about for 83k. The previous owner chimed in here many times. If sale is true then someone got a great vehichle for the price.

Hope so............ I don't remember the details but apparently you know the car. With that being the case, then yes, someone got a smokin' deal.....

I'm lear-y of everything.  Oh, I get it!  You're using an old spelling of 'leery'.  Duh!

I'm just glad that Chrysler and Mercedes aren't together anymore.  Everything was "Damn Lear" this and "Damn Lear" that!  It gets to a guy after awhile! :slap:

I'm surprised that no one noticed the 68 shifter knob
