Original style turn signal lense?

i was wondering which of these two styles is closest to the actual original look of turn signal lense on a 68 charger?

the more yellow kind with the black sides:



or the more orange kind without the black sides:

Both are correct. If the hood turn signal depressions had the black accent stripe the black edge lens are correct. Without, the plain ones.

im not sure i understand. is there a photo of what youre talking about? under my lense its just metal

Sorry, I wasn't clear. In the hood depressions there are also some very shallow long depressions. These are where long black vinyl decals were applied to R/T cars matching the lens with black paint on them.

yep black around the flat part of the lense is correct   ,  had to paint mine on the repops i got from charger specialities  
 none of the repops have the word front cast in the lense  , as far as i know  !! , wonder why the factory done this ??
