Looks like someone grabbed a random Daytona pic for this article but they make no specific mention of the shortened wheelbase image. What's the deal with this thing? Drag car?

It's an altered wheelbased car.  More popular on the A/FX cars of the 60's.  This car comes to mind. It's a drag racing deal to get more weight distribution on the back.

Yea, I know about the changing of the wheelbase for advantages in drag racing but I was asking about this specific car. Not sure why else they would do it but it seems odd to me they'd use a Daytona to do it with. Hope it's not a real one.
