Then again.

Amazing, I'm originally from Ohio and they require front license plates. But all 5 stinkin' neighboring states do not. Now I live in Nevada and like Ohio they also require front license plates :brickwall:

If it were up to me I would chose NOT to have front plates.

I don't get this.  You don't pull someone over from the front.  It's a BS government thing.  Rear tags only for me.  It only makes sense.  :Twocents:

70 Charger in the Martin Lawrence movie Blue Streak... Dave Chappelle was supposed to be the getaway driver..

This Charger right here is a one of none, that means none before it, none to come.

Don't think anyone has posted this one. In the Leslie Nielsen movie called "Spy Hard", he gets picked up in a 68 Charger.

Nice one. That was funny

Okay, so not technically on topic with respect to this thread but it is a Charger and it is in the back ground and I didn't expect it there.  (I just wanted to see more happy Charger threads at the top-getting sick of being mad at the anti-flag crowd)

JB400

Glad you've come to recognize the sedan version for a change ;)

Ghoste are you saying that the 69 behind you was purely random? No Mopar show near by? Not somebody you already know locally?

If so that is way cool!!! What are the odds? I mean you're driving your classic where everyone gives you attention and you happen to look up in your rear view mirror and there's another Charger! And not just another Charger but a 2nd gen Charger and a 69 at that :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

Ghoste

A little of both.  I was just out driving and he came up behind me unexpectedly but it is someone I know.

Maybe when he first seen you and your Charger he made a valiant effort to get behind you :shruggy:

That's what I would've done

It's funny that ever since i read this topic, everytime i watch a movie,my eyes start to search for Chargers in the background

Last night i hitted pretty good and did not see this movie in this topic at quick glance.

French Connection, the first one with Gene Hackman and Roy Schneider made in -71 or -72.

Parked at side of the road,on the curb.

About 17-18 min , there's Brown -69

and at 18-20min there's a white -68

Again at 43-46 min , a Brown -69

And last one i spotted was about 1hour 17min mark, where maybe the same brown Charger appeared.Closer lookout shows that it's a R/T(emblem on rear quarter) and front bumper plus front side indicator lens made me say that it's a -69.

I hope that someone can provide screenshot's.

Pete

haha ive been scanning old films , frame by frame  for years looking for chargers  :P
yes I remember those , in that film  , think the white 68 had a patch of gray primer too on the quarter or fender :scratchchin:  not seen that film for years , did video tape it at the time , but long since gone  , been waiting for someone to post it on youtube  , then i'll do some screen captures & post them here  :yesnod:

The first pic is from the opening credits in McQ, from 1974 with John Wayne driving a Trans Am.  ::)

The next pic is about half way through, during a pretty lame car chase. Later on, he chases a laundry truck.   :smilielol:

good stuff , thanks for sharing TMM      forgot all about McQ & the blue 68   don't remember the third generation though

1972 Charger with a sunroof and some striping I've never seen unless it's custom. The Charger in this filming is relatively new as this episode was release Oct. 19, 1972.

Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....
