Almost a hybrid really but it's more Ford than Vette.  A custom derived from.

I say Ford Mustang scoop....

Hemi car?? anyone know this car?

GOTWING

looks Fordish, but i do remember in the mid 80's our speed shops sold these style scoops in a grey fiberglass. I bet it's after market to somewhat resemble a ford Scoop.

Ghoste

Thats what I think too, it looks a little larger and just slightly different from the actual Ford one.

Hemi_tyme

looks  like a 70 road runner hood with a little black photo shop pen on the front opening  :shruggy:

That's a hood scoop of a 1967 Corvette Stingray. I can't believe you guys couldn't nail that one   :slap:

Ghoste

Hmm, you're right I think.  The front looks the same but the back is modified.

I think the scoop is a JC Whitney type scoop, The first scoop Stuart posted is a mach1 and is too low profile to be the one on the Daytona and I think the second link the scoop is too bulbus around the spears.??????
wingless now, but still around.

I kinda dig it. I'm glad he smoothed over the dimples before he installed it. Scoops on top of dimples look "special". Bulge or recess, pick one- not both.

Looking for a CD by  'The Sub-Mersians'  entitled "Raw Love Songs From My Garage To Your Bedroom"

Also, any of the various surf-revival compilation albums this band has contributed to.

Didn't the aftermarket sell something like that one and called it a "Boss 429" scoop for the Mustang's? Wasn't Exactly like the original, but close.
