ignition problems

here's the problem: 1974 charger 440, when i turn the key to crank the engine i get 1-2 volts coming to starter solenoid, anyone have any idea whats causing this?? am i grounding somewhere or is ignition switch bad. any help would be apperciated. thx

LOTS of variables here. Could be as simple as a dead battery. Could be a bad + cable...If you are getting Anything down to the starter solenoid, then the ignition switch is doing it's thing. Could be a bad Starter relay. Need more detailed info.

figured out that issue, return wire from the ignition switch was faulty, we now have a car that will roll over!
