Awww how could you not love that face!   He doesn't look old... no white/gray hairs etc..?

He's a rottweiler and he's pushing 9 years of age and sadly that's coming pretty much to the end of his life span.  Not much we can do about it.

He's got a few years left in him, my mutt is 13.

Rotties average 9-10 years. Ours are properly looked after, regular vet visits, walked daily and live inside the house with us but even then the very best we've ever managed is 9 1/2. 
We've never had a dog go grey.....none of them have never really looked old. But this boy more or less just slowed down over night.
He's taking it easy........so be it.

here's my almost 15 y/o loyal chocolate lab, he's doing pretty well, we had a scare earlier in the summer last year July 18Th, he got nailed/bit by a Diamondback Rattlesnake, on his right side of his muzzle, he doesn't hear or see so great anymore, or maybe it's just selective/stubbornness... Lord Budnicks photos were taken a day &/or 2 after he was put on the steroids, for the snake bite.. he's doing great for an old dog

will do...LOL... Thanks he's a great old dog, he has some slight respiratory issues now, I don't know if the 2 are even related either  , but he seems to be fine other than that, slow but fine...

Thanks guys.  She is a great dog.  I "trained" her to play football by putting treats on the stairs and then throwing her toy across the room.  Now I throw the toy and try to stop her from reaching the stairs.  Its a blast even though she goes around me like I am standing still.  Right when I get home she is waiting with the football ready to play the game.
