Just type in 1957-1976 Dodge / Plymouth in ebay and you'll get an idea of whats out there at that price.

Or do Craigslist searches in nearby cities the same way.     :Twocents:

Your interest in mopars is clear and your preference for 69 chargers is understandable.

Will you accept a stepping stone to what really want?   If that's the case than I see a long hard road.  Selling/trading what one has to get where we want to be is tough.  One does not generally gain trading value in this market.  It's more like hanging in there.

You stated you need to sell something now to even make the next step. Just making that next step would put you one step back because you will then have to sell/trade to do it again.

My advice is to understand what will make you happy in the long run and not waste your money on something that is not really your passion.

History shows that the good deals happen rarely and those that grab them have money at the time.

I recommend you sell the car you intend to sell for this adventure and add all the cash you can to a pot than hunt for what you really want.

I missed many great deals over the years because I could not act immediately. :Twocents:

An assumption I'm making here is that the car you are looking for will not be your daily transport. If that's true you than your optimism is realistic.

This is painful to read- I thought this guy was some sort of expert on the Lee1- didn't he post several times about documenting what was accurate in the Lee1 video thread ??
