Any idea what the correct tire size would be that the movie car used ?

I've heard they were F70 14 but how does that translate with the modern sizes ?

215/70/14 maybe ?

Also what would be the correct make whitewalls to buy ? Or close to it

Thanks

The Bullitt (stunt) Charger was not running stock tires.  There are conflicting stories about the details, but they said they were trying to slow the Charger down with smaller tires.  It was outrunning the Mustang too easily and screwing up the shots.

The stock 1968 Charger size is F70-14.  These days the conversion charts usually call it 215/70r14 (or 225/70r14).  In reality 205/75r14 is a closer match but that size is mostly trailer tires now.

This is an easy tire size comparison site.  You watch a little pop-up ad for like 10 seconds, and then it's ad-free for the next 24 hours.
