Holy cow, that is a drag car. Note fenderwell headers and a paint scheme reminiscent of Sox and Martin!
Thanks, Chris.

Some better photos of the Barracuda drag car (1-27-26) Looks like it says "Dale Parrott & Son" on the side.

Doing a Google search, I found this photo online. Photo presumably by the car's owner.

That Coronet WAS a R/T. The Super Bee would not have had that decorative taillight panel.
Thanks Chris!

Nice!
I'm jealous you get to drive your Charger at this time of year, Here it's snow covered and feels like 2 degrees F.

Thank you for the info!

That guy popped out in front of me from a side street and took off fast. Not sure if he saw my charger. Rare occurrence for two white mopars to meet like that nowadays!  :coolgleamA:

That's waaaay too cold for me!

Here in NorCal (Redding, very NorCal) it's supposed to hit 90 degrees this week.

I used to have a friend that lived in Redding. He had a black 71 Challenger.
The weather up there is weird. Hot as Arizona in the Summer and sometimes as cold as the hills in the Winter.
There are some beautiful and scenic areas up there. LOTS of trees.
Have you taken your car to the Maxwell car show in May? It is held at the Maxwell High School. I try to go at least every other year. How about Kool April Nights? I've been there a few times too. The Friday street cruise is a lot of fun.
Cheers

Chris 69

Never taken it to the Maxwell High School, but I have done the Kool April Nites cruise a few times, but never the weekend show. Now I prefer to be a spectator at the cruise to see more of the cars as they go by.

Kern Dog

It is impressive how many cars come out of the shadows to appear at the Kool April Nights event.
