Some of us are stubborn in our ways. We find what we like and don't care much to try new things.
We all know someone that is the exact opposite. They may be the first one you knew to get a cellular phone, a car with an air bag, try the new restaurant or pierce themselves in weird places.
Sometimes the new, trendy thing seems interesting. Often times this stuff looks like a replacement for stuff that already works just fine.
I knew a guy that liked to try new tools. To me, they looked like gimmicks you'd see on a late night TV ad.
He had ratchet wrenches before anyone else I knew. He used cordless drills and stepped drill bits too. The guy was  the closest thing to a cave man in most respects of his life but he really liked new tools. Sometimes I'd try what new tool he had and find that I liked using it.
What new stuff exists today that you didn't like at first?

AI is what comes to mind for me.
I really dislike AI comments on Facebook posts and go out of my way to not read them.

Not sure what's being going on but the forum was super slow since yesterday on my laptop

Anyway, I've been dabbling with the Chat GTP AI app on my phone and have managed to create a few amusing caricatures by uploading a picture and asking the app to create something from it, such as driving down a red dirt road

I tried to put these all in one post but nothing's ever easy with this platform

Since retiring, I've tried foods that I never cared to try before. I've worn nicer, cleaner clothes too...
You can improve things with age, right?
