Got the last bit of sheet metal I need! Took over a year for it to get back in stock.

So I know its been a long time since updates on this project..

Well life got in the way, took a step back for a bit to recoup. Work got hectic, kids etc. We all know the stories of why projects get shelved.

We'll I got it into a shop to help me finish the metal work given that's what I'm least confident in. T

I got most of the front end work done prior. So mainly back half of the car. They've been working on it for a bit and have gotten quiet a bit done. This is from a day where they were test fitting much of the body.

Mini tubs, quarters, tail panels etc. US car tool chassis stiffening kit in. Shell work should be done soon, some patches left and such but most of the big stuff is done. Next I'll get floors, underside and stuff painted. I'll bring it home and can start some assembly before bring it back for the rest of the paint and body work. Or maybe I'll explore tackling some of that when the time comes.

Couple questions for debate.

I'm doing a mild resto mod. Want the car to "handle well" Autocross type stuff or maybe one day, something bigger like a open road race like the Newfoundland Targa.

So given that, for the underside I'm looking for something durable and will hold up. I was looking into Lizard skin. But not quiet sure how durable it is. The shop suggested tinted raptor liner. Plus they said it can be shot before the epoxy primer cures keeping cost down.

Has anyone had experience with either product?
