Good day Kurt,

Still moving slowly... but moving.
Eric is close to wrapping the interior.
Some pics so far...

We determined which way to go with the speakers/ amp system.
He mounted two subwoofers behind the rear seats. Those 6x9's in the rear tray area will be flush mounted. And he'll put 8" full range speakers in the kick panels. Twitters in the far right and left in the dash. So the speakers will be hidden.
The amp is going behind the trunk firewall between there and a false panel.
He's attacking  the door panels/ quarter panels/ sail panels next. Then onto the final body repairs.Which he keeps telling me is the easy stuff. Hardly any slow moving fabrication left now.
The engine should be out of the machine shop now... ready for final assembly.
Hopefully.

Eric's cranking on the body work.
Got all the metal on that needed fixing. Welded it all in and ground it down. Including the door issues... some rusted out areas on the bottoms and sides.
He wanted my tail light assemblies to check the fit.
And we discussed the rear bumper... he's moving it closer to the body and going to "French" it in.

He's got the catch can for the dry sump system mocked up in the nose cone area and is fabbing up some brackets for it.

He got the paint mixed up and is in his shop because California is getting ready to outlaw the stuff he likes. He didn't want to be worried about sourcing it when he needed it.
He was leery about the color I wanted... but after looking at it ...he thought it was going to be awesome on my car.
He opened up the "touch up" bottle when I was over there and was all excited.
Me too!  :icon_smile_big:
