This was bought for $5000 in 2019. I'm into it for about $10,000 total now after rebuilding the engine and other miscellaneous things to get it to run, drive, stop and steer. It is registered, insured and roadworthy for a fraction of the price of a car that you can't legally title with a VIN.
I'm glad that they are building these but I'd never buy one.

Interesting, who would've ever thought this would ever materialize 20 years ago? I like it, especially if it keeps people from hacking up good original cars to put modern drivetrains in them...

I agree . it sucks how many have been sliced up for high dollar custom builds. They buy a near rust free car and start cutting out all the e\areas that rust out and build new floors and rails. etc
