Does anyone know where the switch is supposed to be located for a rear window defroster on a 68 Charger?

just to the right of the column in the gauge panel ...there is a block off plate in the panel.
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 572 hemi 5 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............
